QUETTA, Jan 29: An Iranian couple, who have been on a cycling mission for peace for two years, arrived Quetta on Wednesday after visiting several countries.Talking to journalists at the Khana-i-Farhang on Thursday, Jafar Idresi and his wife Samiya said they had travelled to Turkey, France Germany, the United States, Canada, Japan, Korea, China and India before coming to Pakistan, covering about 10,000 kilometres. They planted 73 trees during the journey.
They said they had been warmly welcomed in all the countries they visited. The couple will leave for Iran via Taftan border on Friday.
